Thanks to my continuing education course #681: Web EDU through Learner's Edge I now have a start to my Weblog for my math classes at Yokosuka Middle School, a DoDDS school in Yokosuka, Japan. It only took 3 hours to get this started. I'm very tired and will have to add some more touches to it tomorrow. Hopefully I can keep this going and it will be beneficial to me, my students, and colleagues as we pursue more knowledge in math and math instruction.
I've been greatly inspired by the author of the course textbook, Will Richardson. His book, Blogs, Wikis, Podcasts, and Other Powerful Web Tools for the Classrooms, 2nd ed. was easy to read and very informative.

Mr. Richardson's book has given me a new box of tools and techniques for using the Internet. As Mr. Richardson states in his book, "Here is where the real learning, and the real fun, begins."
